Postsecondary, dual enrollment and pre-apprenticeship at listed institutions.
Dual-enrollment fees billed by the school are an eligible fee.
Rules that apply
- Programs subject to Florida's dual-enrollment cost provisions (s. 1009.25 / 1009.30) are excluded.
- Pre-apprenticeship is for students 16 or older.
What is not allowed

In Miami-Dade
Miami Dade College and FIU dual-enrollment pathways are the usual targets; a 9-12 award of $7,942 can cover a church school's tuition and a college course in the same year.
How to buy it
Check MyScholarShop first (anything listed is pre-approved), then Find Providers in EMA for direct pay to tutors, therapists and instructors. Otherwise pay with a card, keep the itemized receipt and submit for reimbursement. Anything not listed as eligible needs a pre-authorization request before you buy; 2026-27 requests close May 28, 2027.
