About Miami Edu Funding & our data

An independent guide to every dollar available for private, church, Jewish, independent, hybrid, homeschool and pre-K education in Miami-Dade — built on the state's own school records.

Miami Edu Funding started with a simple observation: Florida has the most generous school choice funding in the country, yet most Miami-Dade families still believe private or church school is out of reach. The state scholarship alone pays about $8,000 per child, 486 local schools accept it, and almost no one shows families how it fits with school aid, Archdiocese and community programs, VPK, the new federal credit and our partner fund.

We do. A School Funding Advisor reviews every family's situation, builds a funding stack, and connects them to schools that accept it. Our work is supported by a private partner focused on expanding church-run and community schools; that relationship is disclosed wherever it applies, and it never changes which sources we recommend.

Where the school data comes from

Every school listing reproduces the record the school filed with the Florida Department of Education Private School Directory (Miami-Dade district), retrieved October 8, 2026: the state school number, address, grades, religious affiliation and denomination, students served, accreditation, disability categories served, and whether the school appears on the state's list of schools participating in the FTC/FES-EO scholarship program. 687 schools were registered in the district on that date; 486 were listed as participating.

Scholarship amounts are the 2026-27 Miami-Dade awards published by Step Up For Students ($8,745 K-3, $8,140 4-8, $7,942 9-12). Deadlines are from Step Up's 2026-27 scholarship schedule. Tuition is not reported to the state; schools can add it by claiming their listing.

Spotted an error in a school's record? The fastest fix is for the school to update its state survey; we refresh from the state directory regularly and will correct a listing on request.

Miami Edu Funding is a project of Boss Leads. We are not a school, a scholarship funding organization, Step Up For Students, or a government agency.
